Draft: not legal advice
This document is a product-specific draft and not legal advice. It must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified lawyer before launch. Do not rely on it as-is.
Acceptable Use Policy
Because Clipwick generates content with AI and posts it automatically to social platforms at scale, this policy sets clear limits to keep the Service, and your accounts, safe and compliant.
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Clipwick. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating it may result in content removal, suspension, or termination.
2. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to generate or publish content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Infringes intellectual-property or publicity rights, or misuses someone else's likeness, voice, or brand.
- Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence against people or groups.
- Sexualises minors, or is otherwise exploitative or abusive.
- Is deceptive in a harmful way, including impersonation, fabricated news presented as fact, synthetic depictions of real people without a lawful basis, or election/health disinformation.
- Provides dangerous instructions (e.g. weapons, self-harm) or facilitates fraud or scams.
3. AI disclosure and transparency
All output is AI-generated. You must not remove, obscure, or circumvent the AI-content / synthetic-media disclosure applied to your posts, and you must comply with the AI-labelling rules of every platform you publish to and of applicable law (including the EU AI Act).
4. Anti-spam and automated posting
Automated posting is powerful and easy to abuse. You must not:
- Operate accounts, or post at volumes or patterns, that violate a platform's terms, rate limits, or automation/spam rules.
- Run networks of inauthentic or coordinated accounts, engage in fake engagement, or artificially inflate reach.
- Post repetitive, misleading, or bulk unsolicited content, or use the Service for affiliate/SEO spam that a platform would classify as spam.
- Attempt to evade platform enforcement (e.g. ban circumvention, cloaking).
You are responsible for staying within the posting policies of each connected platform. Platform suspensions arising from your use are your responsibility.
5. Platform and third-party rights
You must hold the rights necessary for any brand names, logos, trademarks, products, or reference material you ask the Service to feature, and you must respect the terms of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and any other platform you connect.
6. Technical abuse
- No probing, scanning, or breaching the Service's security or rate limits (including the public demo's limits).
- No reselling, sublicensing, or reverse-engineering the Service, or using it to build a competing model or dataset without permission.
- No automated bulk access outside the provided product interfaces.
7. Enforcement and termination
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, disabling automated posting, suspending, or terminating accounts, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious or repeated violations, and anything that puts the Service or third parties at risk, may result in immediate termination. Where we terminate for cause, fees already paid are non-refundable.
8. Reporting
If you believe content generated or posted through Clipwick violates this policy or your rights, contact us so we can review it.
